Where are we now?

My name is Tyron K. Young.   I finish my senior year at the National Foundation High School in May 2007.  My Academic focus has been in Information Technology.  In high school I have been involved in Football, Swimming, Tennis, and Track & Field.  During my senior year, I've been ranked as No. 1 in Baltimore City in pole vaulting.  I have been admitted to Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.  I will be pursing my college degree and also hope to compete in athletics.  I Co-Chair the Board of the Baraka Youth Empowerment Fund.

My name is Davon Randolph.  I attended the Baraka school in 2003 for seventh grade, but was not able to go back.  I currently attend Boy's Latin High School as a sophomore.  I'm doing well in school.  I also participate  in sports.

My name is Justin Mackall, and I attended the Baraka School for 7th grade. When it was time for me to return for 8th grade, the school was closed. I now am a junior and i attend Piney Woods Boarding School in Pineywoods, Mississippi. When I am done in high school I plan to attend Labatory Institute of Merchandising in New York to pursue a career in Fashion Merchandising. I would also like to do Real Estate.

Hello. My name is Brandon J. Lane.ÂI am finishing up my junior year at the Institute of Business and Entrepeneurship at Wallbrook Campus in June of 2008.  I am proud to say that I am an Honor Role student.  I am also a classical singer and all around musician.  I am a co-chair on the Baraka Youth Empowerment Fund Board.

Phillip Dorsey was recently accepted to Wesley College and Institute of Technology at West Virginia University.  He just finished his last season of high school baseball.

Hello, my name is Levon.ÂI was scheduled to be at the Baraka School in 2001, but because of what happened, returned September 24th... I think I was going on 13.  The Baraka School taught me that the world is bigger than the East Coast of America, and there are many things to see in it.  Also, it taught me that anything is possible.  My hobbies are music, riding bikes, eating, and playing football.  I am trying to either finish up school or get my G.E.D.  In the future I hope to get a record deal so I can get paid to do what I like.  I would also like to travel some more.

My name is Devin McKenney.  I attended the Baraka School right before it closed and was part of the last graduating class.  I graduated from Balrimore City College High School and am now attending the University of Baltimore.  Next year I hope to transfer to Morehouse University.  I am a co-chair on the Baraka Youth Empowerment Fund Board.

My name is Montrey Moore.  I am going to Woodlawn High School.  When I graduate, I hope to attend a major university where I want to study music engineering and become a producer.  If that doesn't work, I will major in chemistry and become a scientist.  I enjoy making music and playing sports.
